ORIGINS
World Humanitarian Forum (WHF) is the largest and most inclusive nonpartisan forum in humanitarian aid and international development.
The Forum engages the foremost political, business and other leaders of society to shape global, regional and industry agendas on humanitarian aid and international development. We bring together decision-makers and opinion-formers in the public, private and non-profit sectors, as well as the next generation of partnership-builders. The annual WHF convenings advance critical global discussions and transforms conversations into action, as well as providing a powerful forum to catalyse collaboration through shared-value approaches and social impact objectives. WHF acts as a “DO-TANK”.
Our focus is transforming conversations into action. Employing our efforts on the challenges ahead, our continued emphasis is that WHF’s goal is to enable collective action through our community. WHF stands at the intersection between governments, private sector, NGOs and multilateral organisations.
MISSION STATEMENT
We have slightly past the midpoint on the path to 2030 deadline for realising the the SDGs. However, the current state of progress falls significantly short of the necessary trajectory. Merely 12% of the tracked targets are making the expected headway, while nearly half are veering off course, and over a third are stagnating or, alarmingly, regressing below the benchmark established in 2015. At WHF, our unwavering commitment is to shape the future for a better tomorrow in a world where poverty is eradicated, education is accessible to all for investing in human capital, and unity prevails for the cause of peace and prosperity. We are dedicated to addressing the pressing challenges of our time, driven by the belief that every individual deserves the opportunity to thrive.

As we navigate this path towards a better world, WHF will work tirelessly, engaging with governments, civil society, intergovernmental organisations, communities, and individuals to create lasting change. We recognize the interplay between poverty, education, and unity. By addressing these interconnected issues simultaneously, we aim to create a multiplier effect that accelerates progress. Together, we have the power to transform our vision of a poverty-free, educated, united, peaceful, and prosperous world into a reality.

We pledge to work tirelessly to eradicate poverty in all its forms. Through innovative strategies, community empowerment, and sustainable development, we strive to ensure that no one suffers the indignity of poverty, and that all individuals can secure the necessities of life. WHF is committed to dismantling the chains of poverty, recognizing it as a root cause of many global challenges. We continue to work diligently to create economic opportunities, empower communities, and ensure that all individuals have the chance to escape poverty's grip.

Advancing Education and Learning is the cornerstone of progress and the key to breaking the cycle of poverty. We are committed to advancing learning and education as a key milestone for personal and societal progress. Our mission is to foster a world where quality education is a fundamental right, and in the face of ever-evolving industries and technologies, we believe that access to learning and education for up-skilling and re-skilling is pivotal. We are dedicated to providing opportunities for lifelong learning and skill development, ensuring that we empower communities to be active agents of change in their own development.

PILLAR 3: UNITE
We recognise the importance of unity in the pursuit of a more peaceful and prosperous world. WHF promotes dialogue, cooperation, diplomacy and understanding among nations and communities. We stand against division, conflict, and inequality, striving for a world where peace and prosperity flourish hand in hand. It is the time to break down the barriers that divide humanity to build uniting bridges. Peace is a prerequisite for development. WHF will continue to promote peaceful co-existence, conflict resolution, and social cohesion, emphasising that peace is not merely the absence of conflict but a foundation for thriving societies.
OUR MANIFESTO: 5th REVOLUTION
We stand on the brink of a revolution that is fundamentally altering the way we live, work, and relate to one another. In its scale, scope, and complexity, the transformation is unlike anything that has been experienced before. We do not yet know just how it will unfold, but one thing is clear: Human behaviour is changing and nothing that is not for HUMANITY will survive. Humanity and Force For Good are the new epicentres in this awakening.
The 5th Revolution is based on the previous 4 Industrial Revolutions and defines the current period of rapid, simultaneous and systemic transformations driven by impact, purpose and serving to the humanity. It is reshaping industries, challenging existing regulatory frameworks, and even redefining what it means to be human. We envision a global economy that invests in humanity and uses the force for good. This economy is comprised of a new type of businesses and organisations which are purpose driven and create benefit for all stakeholders, not just shareholders. That is why we are working to shift the culture of accountability in to include not only numbers and performance, but people and planet. 5th Revolution is the programme of action for WHF’s mission.
